our story
The Tattoo Gallery first opened its doors in Belleview, Florida, in September 2015. What began as a small, locally owned tattoo studio grew alongside the community that supported it, eventually leading Gregg and Tina to bring The Tattoo Gallery to Ocala in 2018.
But their vision was always about more than tattoos. They wanted to create a place where artists could grow, creativity could thrive, and every client could feel comfortable expressing themselves without judgment or discrimination. That commitment remains at the heart of everything we do.
In April 2025, our journey came full circle with the opening of Stranger Flowers Yet Tattoo & Art Collective in Belleview, bringing us back to the community where it all began.
Today, both studios remain locally owned, artist-led, and family-operated. While each has its own personality and creative team, they share the same foundation: original artwork, genuine connections, and a welcoming environment where everyone belongs.

The Tattoo Gallery of Ocala and Stranger Flowers Yet Tattoo & Art Collective are two locally owned sister studios serving Ocala and Belleview, Florida. While connected by family, creativity, and a shared passion for tattooing, each studio has its own personality, atmosphere, and team of artists.
Our artists bring different specialties, artistic perspectives, and approaches to their work, giving clients the opportunity to explore both studios and find an artist whose style and vision align with their own.
Though our studios are sisters, they're not twins. Each has its own identity, but both share a commitment to original artwork, quality tattooing, professional standards, and creating welcoming spaces where individuality is celebrated and everyone is treated with respect.

Stranger Flowers Yet Tattoo & Art Collective
Stranger Flowers Yet Tattoo & Art Collective opened in Belleview, Florida, in April 2025 as the sister studio of The Tattoo Gallery of Ocala. Locally owned and artist-led, SFY brings creativity, individuality, and quality tattooing back to the community where our story first began.
Our Belleview tattoo artists specialize in a diverse range of styles, including fine line, black and grey, color, illustrative, neo-traditional, anime, pop culture, floral designs, cover-ups, and tattoo reworks. Each artist brings their own creative perspective, helping clients find artwork that reflects their personal style.
Beyond custom tattoos, Stranger Flowers Yet offers permanent makeup services, including nanoblading, powder and combo brows, lip blush, and cosmetic freckles, as well as restorative areola pigmentation.
Whether you're planning your first tattoo, adding to your collection, or exploring permanent makeup, our team is here to help you feel welcome, comfortable, and confident throughout your experience.

gregg just did my first tattoo and it came out great! i was really amazed with the work he put into my initial art i gave him. he did two other mockups of options with changes i didn't even think of and i actually chose the one he changed the most. he was really smart when listening to what i wanted with the piece and incorporated that all on his own. at no point did i feel talked down to or judged by him or the receptionist (who did the prelim assessment) and i really appreciated that!
oh, and i want to add this was in part a scar cover up, which is apparently one of gregg's things, with pretty thick scar tissue and now i can't see them. i have to squint to find it and that's only because i knew where they were. i highly recommend for zero judgement and beautiful, effective work.
